Foraging

One day, when abandoned by my wife, I set out to forage for my daily sustenance. A trip to the frozen food section at Ingle's triggered a major regression. I immediately curled into a fetal position and cooed for a Salisbury Steak TV Dinner. I picked up a couple for about $3 total and made them my main meals of the day. The flavor of the steak with gravy was fairly good. It was a hearty meal all together. The downside was the two sides: mashed taters and corn niblets. They were awful! Luckily, the next day came and my wife was back nurturing me. The funny thing is, even in this state, I remain in a perpetual state of childhood. I like it! Maybe I never regressed at all when I was in Ingles that day!

Allen, as awful as that tv dinner looks, I too miss the salisbury steak dinner. It's hard to believe there's only one slab of "steak" in there. I haven't had one of those in at least two decades. Perhaps I'll take a trip down memory lane as well...

I liked that one and Meatloaf. Oddly enough, when I would visit my grandmother on Mitchell Street, we'd eat Lean Cuisines. Now I don't think I can stomach. Frozen stuffed crabs were also something I'd eat when I was young - right on the hearth, a mere three feet in front of the tube.
