Watt Espy, Tuscaloosa Days

 

 

This brief description (below) of the project and the crossroads it was facing is interesting.  There are more pages to this, but it's mostly just technical language.  I may scan and add it later.  It was not long after this that Watt Espy did indeed move the research elsewhere - back to his hometown, Headland, Alabama.
