I took a huge slice of Kade's raspberry champagne cake up to my brother. Afterwards, on the drive back down Town Mountain Rd, I was able to look out and see a beautiful sunset silhouette of the Blue Ridge Mountains, with the city lit up. UpCountry Brewing in West Asheville was next on the agenda. On the side of the brewery were some murals of legendary musicians. What did I order?......a burger, which was really good, and a dill pickle beer! A friend who was with me got a porter! On August 9, I shared that I had been to 18 Asheville breweries. Since then, you can add 8 more. Not sure how fixed this # is, but I believe there are 34 breweries in this fair city. I'm getting there!
