It spurred my recollection of Brother Lee's comments at Uncle Major's funeral....I was assigned as a sentry...(stood by the foot of the casket sort of at "attention") for an hour or so before the funeral as people came into the church and viewed the body. Brother Lee said that Major Espy was a man who did not need a eulogy.......he lived it, and anybody who knew him knew that was the truth.
