Every Friday night in downtown Asheville you can see and hear the drummers, and even dance if that's your desire. I made this video early in the evening. Believe me, the darker it gets, the bigger the crowd and the louder the drums.
And, just last night, I paid a visit to one of Asheville's newest restaurants, Cúrate. It had an energetic atmosphere combined with some delicious tapas and wine. Truly, it felt like I could have been any of the world's food capitals - Paris, New York, Barcelona et al.
