Hee Haw
I swear I recall this John Schneider episode and in one skit he gave a shout-out to Newville, Alabama. Anybody else remember this?

Thursday Outing
While waiting for takeout at Siam Thai, I walked over to the record store.
Bought this!
This is the local artist who created the Prince art.
Back home, I took a look at some sake Kade purchased at Whole Foods.

Nice Collection
My neighbor moved back up to New York. These were some of the CDs he left behind. I claimed them. Thanks, Lenny!

Contemporary Christian Music
I saw Sandi Patti in concert at Six Flags Over Georgia. You could easily sing along to her songs.
I saw TRUTH at First Baptist Headland and years later at Samford University.
Steve Green performed at Hilton Head, SC and at Briarwood Presbyterian Church in Birmingham. He was likely my favorite.
When my brother was living in Atlanta, I saw Larnelle Harris perform at First Baptist. He had so much energy, and his voice was almost unmatched.
This guy was phenomenal. I saw him in concert at Samford University. At Lake Espy (outside Headland), I organized a gathering of my old high school classmates - a reunion of sorts. I had a TV set up to play SCC's video for the song, The Great Adventure.
Michael W. Smith was not one of my all-time favorites, but he was highly popular. His song Friends was played at many high school graduations.
I saw him at the Fox Theatre in Atlanta.
Other performers I liked:
DC Talk
First Call
4Him
Michael English
Ray Boltz
Take 6
I had a huge collection of albums (cassettes & CDs). Most of them I ended up donating.

Lynyrd Skynyrd
They performed at Memorial Coliseum on March 21, 1975. Click here for their setlist.
A lot of people assume Lynyrd Skynyrd were from Alabama. However, they were from Jacksonville, Florida. Still very much Southern boys!
