Romney's Props

Presidential candidate Mitt Romney was campaigning in Birmingham, Alabama recently. Here are some images of him holding a couple of my baby cousins.  These dolls would be my great-aunt's great-great-grandchildren.  My great-aunt is Grace Vann (Brannon) of Headland, Alabama, and she is the sister of my late grandmother, Edith Vann (Espy).  Aunt Grace and Uncle Julian (Brannon) have 3 children, 14 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren.

I asked Sam Brannon (my first cousin once removed), one of Aunt Grace's children, to get me some information to go along with the images.

Michael Brown is one of Larry Brown and Julie Brannon Brown's 4 children...the others are Russell, Logan and Ruth Ann. Michael is in the final stages of a law degree from Samford and married to Carissa Familia...they have two girls..Kalai and Alythia...

Mitt Romney was in Birmingham for a rally and they attended....Mitt asked if he could hold the children and be photographed with them... Julie, her sibs and all their folks are big Romney boosters...
