Yesterday I organized a small gathering of Asheville folks - through www. meetup.com - who were interested in the Thomas Wolfe Memorial (downtown Asheville) and his grave at the Riverside Cemetery. Luckily, a volunteer guide from the Wolfe Memorial accompanied us to the cemetery and gave a thorough tour. Next week, to this post, I will add the additional video footage of the other significant graves we saw - several Confederate generals, George Masa, another author, victims and assailant of an infamous 20th century Asheville mass murder, and more.
