Kade's Neighbor

Kade's neighbor growing up was the lovely lady in this photo.  And Kade's the doll that she's holding.  This is likely early 1977.  This neighbor had a very successful manufacturing business that made buttons or metals objects for clothing.  It was a huge business with a lot of employees.  One year, they were behind on some orders and she went to check on what was going on.  Because of a big deadline, she tried running one of the machines, which she normally wouldn't do.  Everyone was stressed, and she had been frustrated.  And she was trying to push things along.  One of the machines apparently caught her arm and badly mangled it from the elbow down.  It had to be amputated.  What do you think the moral of this story is?
