New Edition was easily one of my favorite groups back in '83-'84. I obsessively played their album cassettes on the stereo "box" that I carried around - finish one side, flip to the other, repeat. I remember summer nights playing basketball (usually 21) with my brother and step-brother, and often the box would be nearby and New Edition would be cranked up. Fun times.
One of the members of the group was Bobby Brown, who would later go on to marry pop icon Whitney Houston.
