A non-beer business in the South Slope is Vortex Donuts.  Just recently, I met four cousins there:  Carol Oates, two of her daughters and one of her grandchildren. We ate salted caramel donuts, sipped lattes and gossiped the afternoon away.

I did eventually take a few back to Kade.  But numbers were dwindling!
