Kade & Nan, in a park

These two images are of Kade and her sister Nan.  This would be Kade's early university years.  Her sister was likely a high school junior or senior. Not sure of the park where they were taken, but I am certain their father was behind the camera.  He is a professional photographer and was a cinematographer for a movie studio during his career.  You can imagine the photos they have.

A few weeks ago I purchased a top-of-the-line home/office scanner.  It's an Epson Perfection V550 Photo scanner.  The resolution it gives you is incredible, and it runs circles around the one I have been using the past several years.  One problem, though, is that it picks up microscopic pieces of lint and tiny blemishes that would be invisible to the naked eye if you were going through pictures by hand or through an album.  But now we like to zoom in!   And some of these older photos can be a challenge to clean up.  I did my best with these.
