A couple of weekends before summer ended I was trying to experience some more breweries. I found this one. Compared to some newer ones, especially ones on the South Slope, French Broad Brewery is very laid-back. It has a cozy vibe with outdoor seating, which I like for an afternoon beer. When the sun goes down, apparently they have a pretty good music scene. I can certainly see going back.
