Downtown Walk

The restored brick building is the new Sauna House.  Entrance is on the other side.
Two levels.  We love it!

Ode to Buskers & Asheville Music

Sadly, I learned that the Kimpton Hotel Arras, where this monument is, was damaged in the amount of 200k during last summer's protests.  I wonder if the city made any attempt to arrest and charge those who did this, or was it overlooked out of fear of being perceived to be against whatever the protest was about??!?   I hope more Asheville residents truly wake up.

Our plan was to eat down that road, at El Gallo.

Prince?!?!

Many tours around town:  segways, food, beer, bike, walking, history, rooftop and more.

El Gallo

 Had lunch at El Gallo.

Stopped at Izzy's on Lexington Avenue for an Iced Hazelnut Latte.

4.07 miles, 300 feet elevation

I do not think the busker monument was damaged during the protests. The Arras was the victim of graffiti spray painted on its walls. Wish I were tall enough to see the Charlie Chaplin and other murals behind the fence.
