One of the best things about Asheville is that you can get on the water very easily - workdays, weekends, whenever it suits you. You can do lazy floating (in pic), paddle boarding, canoeing, kayaking and whitewater rafting. And I'm sure I'm missing something! I do things here and there, but mainly I like to just see what's happening on the river. I can live vicariously that way! In the image, up and to the left on the opposite bank of the French Broad River, is New Belgium Brewery.
