A Little Something About Table
Table is a small, seasonal New American restaurant in the heart of downtown Asheville. Always inventive, at times whimsical, our daily changing menu is inspired by the wealth of culinary traditions represented in our country, paying particular homage to the South. Since opening our doors in 2005, we have been deeply committed to supporting, celebrating, and showcasing regional and sustainable agriculture, forming long-standing relationships with farmers and purveyors in Western NC and throughout the Southeast along the way. - Table
Cuisine which defines memory and defies labels.
We are deep rooted in the history of the Carolinas with a deep respect and love for agriculture and husbandry. We believe that good food is fresh off the vine, stained in dirt and consumed with the ones you love. Cuisine to us is simply the memory of the foods from our childhood and inspired by ingredients that web the history of an agrarian culture that is unique to our part of the American South. Real and uninhibited, it is salty peanuts dropped into a fizzing Pepsi-Cola on a hot summer day. It is that moment that you first discover the sweet syrup of a ripe peach drip down your chin. It is a salty fried oyster on a Christmas eve with family. These thoughts provoke a feeling inside of us and have inspired a creative spin on this cuisine. These foods provoked a restaurant. These memories define us. Welcome to Seven Sows; nostalgic food recreated in modern cuisine. We look forward to serving you. - Seven Sows
The Imperial Life Bar
The Imperial Life is a new low-light, grown-up bar above Table Restaurant in downtown Asheville. We feature an extensive list of small batch spirits, local beers on tap, a seasonally changing selection of craft cocktails —classic and modern— and a wine list showcasing lesser-known and esoteric varietals. Drop in for a drink and a snack or make a meal from our inventive small plate menu celebrating all things raw, cured, and aged, like house-made charcuterie, artisan cheeses, raw oysters & sashimi, tartares, and market-driven salads. - Imperial Life
