This is almost all the wood carvings I selected from my grandmother's house after she died. Most of the wood carvings were souvenirs my grandparents brought back from a trip to the Caribbean Islands. Have pretty much confirmed that they traveled to the Bahamas, Haiti and Jamaica. I have some video footage from their trip(s), and if I can ever get it edited properly, will add it to this post. Not sure where the wildlife carvings were purchased. The duck appears to be a Wiregrass carving (Southeast Alabama). The wooden show is the iconic item that hails from Holland. My grandfather likely purchased it on a stopover during his Russia trip in 1959.
That's me. And that Haiti machete is on the wall!
