Scenic Views

I took out my hiking group about an hour and a half before sunset so that we could reach these areas at the perfect time.  This city hike was 5 miles exactly.  It was very humid - perfect for burning calories.

When you're walking in Asheville, you see a variety of wildlife.  I have seen foxes, deer, groundhogs, hawks, bears, snakes, rabbits, squirrels, turkeys and birds of  all types.  Here are some images I've taken over the past few weeks.  If you're like me, and you need a distraction or extra motivation to exercise, a love of wildlife can do the trick.  I carry my phone, of course, and sometimes my camcorder.
