This is a city hike I led today. As you can see, you don't have to leave the city to get amazing views. I had my Handycam ready in case bears made appearances. No luck in that department. But a very beautiful morning, nonetheless. For those who enjoy hiking data, the elevation gained on this hike surpassed that of the popular Mt. Pisgah Hike. The latter is a lot more difficult, however, because the elevation is done over a much shorter distance. Click here for an aerial video of the Beaver Lake area.
