When you're out walking in Asheville (or driving around), chances are you have seen the "Bear Crossing" signs. There are definitely places where bears are more active. And when roads and cars are involved, locals do what they can to alert drivers. This obviously is to protect the bears. Also, when you're out and about, you find a lot of fun bear sculptures and unique yard items. I have been fooled a few times, thinking what I saw was a real bear!
