The Airbnb where we stayed in lovely Homewood....one of the communities that make up greater Birmingham, Alabama. Our visit was exactly this time a year ago!! Definitely returning.

Homewood had two or three great ice cream shops. And I am sure they are all over Birmingham!
Had a chance to catch up with my niece, which was my main reason for going to "The Magic City"!
This is the home where I lived with some friends right after graduating from Samford University. I worked for AmSouth Investments while preparing to embark on a one-year "experience" in Uzbekistan. This is where I lived during that period - right off HWY 280.
I wanted to give Milo's a try to see how I would like it after many years. Although it was tasty, it didn't quite live up to the glory days of my youth! But what would?!? The sweet tea and the fries are still good, though. This Milo's served as a meeting spot for a cousin and me.
