Fall is a fantastic time of year in Asheville. If you happen to be outdoors, don't forget to glance up in yards or sometimes down, if yards are below street level. Bears can be right there. They can also be high up in trees. And what's really great is, even if you don't catch sight of a bear, there's plenty of other wildlife in these mountains.
