Smart & Loving

Kade decorated these beautiful Mother's Day cupcakes.  One fond memory I have of Mother was the time she called me and shared, "When people around town ask me if Kade is a Christian or not, I say, 'I don't know, but I look around my community and in my family and she appears to be more Christian than many.'  What do you think about that?"  I replied, "That's very smart."  My mother was very loving, and could think out-of-the-box.  Another thing she told me and later told Kade, "You're not even a daughter-in-law.  You're like a daughter to me."  Mother was so sweet - like those cupcakes.
