Dallas

Aired from April 2, 1978 to May 3, 1991.

My mother loved Dallas.  I'm sure my grandmother and my sister did, too.  It was always on in our home!  I was just a kid and would hang out to watch it.  I already liked the Dallas Cowboys, so this series, especially the opening theme music with the skyline, gave me the chills.  Oh, and it showed Texas Stadium!  Another influence on me:  Pam Ewing (Victoria Principal).  She was beautiful!  And at that tender age, I knew that.

On Nov. 21, 1980, we found out who shot J.R.  Click here to find out.  I recall being out the local Tastee-Freez, eating a meal and someone saying (or me thinking), "We must get home to see who shot J.R."  That's the power of TV!  Imagine the ad revenue for that one.
