Human Nature

The author Robert Greene talks about The Laws of Human Nature.  He suffered a stroke not long ago and shares how hardship, difficulties and the thought of dying can move us to do amazing things.  These are topics I enjoy discussing.

Chief Motivator?

Synopsis:  Drawing from religion and the human sciences, particularly psychology after Freud, the author attempts to demonstrate that the fear of death is man's central concern
“To live fully is to live with an awareness of the rumble of terror that underlies everything.”

I read this book years ago.  It really resonated with me.  It made sense.
