Thai Meal








Spring Rolls with a Sweet & Spicy Sauce
Jasmine Rice
Stir-fried Pumpkin & Eggs
Hot & Sour Soup with Shrimp (Tom Yum Goong)
Green Curry with Chicken

Kade made this delicious meal for some of her friends.  Even the Sweet & Spicy Sauce was homemade.  She also made some Lime Tea and Tea with Milk, which are served cold and are very popular in Thailand.  For dessert, there was banana bread (American style).  The floral dishes you see are Blue Ridge chinaware that I inherited from my mother, and the ceramic bowls used to serve the Tom Yum Goong are traditional Chinese noodle bowls that are very recognizable in Thailand.  At Kade's sister's funeral in May, each guest was given one of these bowls after the final ceremony.  They have a painted chicken on them!  I will try to add a better image of one here later.
