Our photo is poor due to lighting. The fries were really good. And if you are looking for a traditional burger without the frills, it satisfies. The only negative was that it was a little on the salty-side, but it got better with each bite, which says something. A bad burger you would give up on. I much prefer the flavors of Stoney Knob Cafe's burger, but this one is very satisfying. They only serve it on Mondays. Here's a review of the burger by somebody who has eaten burgers all over the USA. As for The Bull and Beggar on the whole......Ashevile has a number of great restaurants, and this is one. Burgers are a small part of what they do. The building alone is worth a visit. Here's their Facebook page for more images.
They had a bartender-in-training so it took a while for my cocktail to arrive. The waitress recommended this "special drink" and it surely was good. I wish I could remember the name - the name of the drink, and our server. Both were outstanding.
Caramel Chocolate Tart
buttermilk ice cream and hazelnuts
Wedge Brewing is just down from the B&B. I noticed this food truck. Have mot tried it yet.
a better view of The B & B from an earlier visit to the RAD (River Arts District)
