Seven

A hiking friend wanted to see some bears, so I took her down some roads where I've seen them quite a bit.  Sure enough, this was our first sighting.

After that, about five minutes later, we saw a cub high up in a tree.  Down below the cub were her mama and two siblings.  I will share photos of the mom and siblings later.

After sunset, we drove back down the mountain.  The mom and two cubs we spotted earlier were on the move.
