I recall that my brother and I played The Devil Went Down to Georgia over and over on our portable record player. And in the original version of the song, one lyric was "I told you once you son of a bitch, I'm the best that's ever been." My mother, who bought us the record, didn't know the song had a "cuss' word in it. One day, we were playing the song very loudly and possibly singing along. She heard it, and she confiscated that record. Not sure if we ever got it back!
