I was fascinated by The Incredible Hulk series that ran for about five years in the late '70s/early '80s. The Hulk was my favorite character, and my brother - wouldn't you know it? - liked The Thing. I was at such an age, this might as well have been as real as anything: a man changing into a green monster. Why not?!? It was compelling and frightening. And when The Hulk arrived.....there was hell to pay.
The past couple of years I have really enjoyed watching Reelz network. I like the behind-the-scenes stories of sitcoms and shows I watched growing up. And then you can get into the biographies of actors. There's also another program that focuses on the last weeks of people's lives, and even their autopsies. Unbelievable, really. Besides Bill Bixby, I've seen shows on Farrah Fawcett, John Ritter, Elvis, Michael Landon, Lucille Ball, Prince, Michael Jackson, Judy Garland, Freddie Mercury, Gary Coleman, Patrick Swayze, John Candy, Phil Hartman and Robin Williams. Check out Reelz here.
