That area between the restaurant and the service station is where the old Char Bett Motel used to be. When I was at university, I spent one summer there with Campus Outreach, on Beach Project. I have shared a bit about it in other posts, but will add more details later.

This McDonald's brings back a memory of Beach Project. I will share a bit more later.
We walked all the way to this pier, and out to the end of the pier. Wonderful walk! One thing I will say about my wife Kade is that she's very active, fit and likes walking with me.
I marked where we started our walk at the Y.
You might as well not even have signs. Typical America. Half-hearted effort. Not using brains.
