Arthur D. Walden married one of Major W. Espy Sr.'s Carroll cousins: Kathryn Law Carroll. And then A.D.'s daughter married an Ozark car dealership owner: Walter Hand of Hand Motor Company.

We saw Arthur D. and Kathryn quite a few times in the late 30's into the '40's when they would bring Granny Espy to Decatur to visit us. - Beverly (Espy) Dayries
