How To Take A Walk

I enjoyed this morning's hike.  Didn't see any bears, but ended with a lovely Mexican breakfast.  One fabulous aspect that comes from hiking is the interaction I have with other outdoor enthusiasts and bear lovers.  The lady I took out this morning has an English/Jewish/South Florida background, and she loves photographing wildlife, especially birds.  Asheville keeps delivering when it comes to meeting very interesting people.

(for Cinco de Mayo)

"Few people know how to take a walk. The qualifications are endurance, plain clothes, old shoes, an eye for nature, good humor, vast curiosity, good speech, good silence and nothing too much."
— Ralph Waldo Emerson
