Ruth Branch (Carroll) Mills

Ruth Branch Carroll was born on November 29, 1897.  She was the youngest of eleven children of Major and Elizabeth (Branch) Carroll of Ozark, Alabama.

This is at the funeral of Major Carroll in 1917.  Ruth is center-right, behind her mother, Sarah (Branch) Carroll.  The rest are the Carroll siblings (minus one, who had died very young).  My great-grandmother, Emma (Carroll) Espy, is second from left.
