William Coleman Espy

William Coleman (W.C.) Espy married Harriet Caroline (Ray) Espy in 1854. They had three children.

Captain W. C. Espy fought on the side of the Confederacy in the U.S. Civil War. He was in the infantry, and fought alongside his brother, Thomas Franklin Espy. They were part of the 39th Regiment, Alabama Infantry (1862-1865).

W.C. would be my gg-uncle.
