Bill Espy's grandfather (Thomas Marion Espy) and my great-grandfather (John Jolly Espy, Sr.) were brothers. Bill played William "Snapper" Foster on The Young and the Restless from 1973 (its first year) to 1975 and Mitch Blake on Another World from 1979-1982 and 1986-1990.
This year, The Young and the Restless is celebrating its 50th anniversary.
At the 8 second mark, that's William Gray Espy.

This is the very first episode of The Young and the Restless, 1973. Start at the 3 minute mark, then watch for a bit. Bill Espy is on the sofa.

Sometimes when researching William Gray Espy on the internet, his middle name is spelled g-r-E-y. The reason being: That's the correct spelling. I think "Gray" just got picked up and used more and more over time.
