For a good 4-6 years, Contemporary Christian music was a huge part of my life. I had many albums and went to many concerts. Steve Green was a favorite artist of mine.
That's his autograph. I think I got it at Hilton Head, SC. He was the entertainment for the First Baptist Atlanta Adult Singles retreat. My brother had asked me to come along. My cousin also went. It was a lot of fun.
This is my old old cassette case that ended up in the attic at my family home. I discovered it after my mother died in 2010. Memories flooded back! This is just a tiny sample of what I had in my collection. I see at least two Steve Green albums. I later moved on to CDs. In the mid-to-late '90s, what I didn't toss away, I donated to the Headland First Baptist library.
Besides the Hilton Head retreat, I also saw Steve Green in concert at Briarwood Presbyterian Church in Birmingham.
I also have always remembered seeing a performance of He Holds The Keys on a big screen in my brother's Sunday school class in Atlanta. I rewatched it recently. Green's facial expressions are quite funny. There's no denying how great his voice is. Wow!
I had several of these!
