The part up top that's very hard to read: "He was a businessman and banker in Headland.  He owned several businesses and land in and around Headland.  He built the first brick home in Henry County, Alabama."

Here are some photos we took a few years ago of the old Farmers & Merchants Bank in Headland, AL.  In the front part of the building, L.T.'s son and grandson had their insurance businesses.
