I'm reminded of a time years ago when I was sitting around with some folks. Kade jumped up to go to the kitchen to get something and she asked if I wanted a cup of coffee. I replied, "Sure." Somebody piped up and said, "You need to get your own coffee. Don't make her do that." They seemed irritated by her gesture. This person was on the large side and probably couldn't envision somebody like Kade - petite, young, energetic - doing not only for herself, but for others. Kade has a sweet, servant heart (like Buddha, Christ, etc.). That's why I married her - one of the big reasons anyway. She was raised well. And people also enjoy doing for her because she's so kind. Anyway, I chuckled when I heard that remark. Then, on another visit, same message by the same person, all over Kade bringing me coffee. Hmmm. I laughed it off, and when I told others, they laughed. This person was clearly slipping on a banana peel.
