WTVY - Dothan first aired in 1955.
It's now named the Charles Woods Building. WTVY still operates there.
Prior to becoming WTVY's new home, the building was actually the historic Houston Hotel, built in 1928. Troy State University - Dothan moved in after the closing of the Houston Hotel. It was their first campus. WTVY moved into the building in 1993.
