On March 15, 1984, the Auburn Tigers played the Richmond Spiders in the first round of the NCAA tournament. For some reason I was out at Lake Espy listening to it on the radio. I remember feeling a bit intrigued by the "Spiders" nickname. Click here to read about the game.
