Friday I returned to Hot Springs, NC for some more activities. This time the goal was to find a couple of small waterfalls that Kevin Adams wrote about and photographed for his book North Carolina Waterfalls: A Hiking and Photography Guide. One of the waterfalls took about a 1.2 mile hike to reach, while the other was simply right at a "pull over" on a forest road. After the falls, it was time to head to the town of Hot Springs for my second time hiking Lover's Leap trail. After that, the day ended beautifully with a one-hour relaxing soak in a hot tub. Enjoy the images and videos!

At first I saw a bit of the tail only and thought it was a discarded shoe lace!
