We hiked about five miles (roundtrip), first reaching Rainbow Falls, then walking up the side of Rainbow Falls to Turtleback Falls and Drift Falls. Since Drift Falls is on private property, we could only view it from a distance. After seeing it, we walked back to the other falls for some swimming.
We started our hike at 5 PM, got back to our car at 9:15 PM, and arrived at home about 10:30 PM. What a day! Some young guys from Greenville, SC caught a black snake, and I videoed one of the them carrying it over his shoulders as he went off Turteback Falls. Just hope they ended up releasing it!
