Judge Thomas Marion Espy was a brother of John Jolly Espy, Sr.. George H. Malone and J.J. Espy, Sr. were early business partners in Headland. Thomas M. Espy is also the grandfather of the former soap actor, William Gray Espy. More on Thomas M. Espy here.
