Arrived at the Mark Twain Home Museum!

Adjacent to Twain's home is another famous home.  Can you guess?!?

home of Harriet Beecher Stowe, author of Uncle Tom's Cabin

As we were leaving the museum parking lot, I saw a North Carolina tag, and said "North Carolina!" to the young couple getting in the car.  They were from Charlotte.  They were impressed that we drove up from Asheville and were still going north!!!

Our waitress at The Franklin took a road trip through Asheville.  Liked it.  She also told us about Lagos ice cream shop in Rye.  I asked her where she and her friends like to go for lobster rolls.  She said Ray's Seafood in Rye.

While in line for ice cream, I met an older couple from Portsmouth.  They had been to Asheville.  Loved it.  They told me that while they were having dinner (this evening), they talked with a lady from Tennessee.
