Just recently we joined some friends on a canoeing adventure on the
French Broad River. The outfit we used was
Asheville Outdoor Center. Most of the images above were provided by Melida, the dark-haired lady paddling in the next to last image. Behind her, capturing the image, is her husband Diego. In the first image, Kade is up front. On up ahead of us are Aaron and Andi. Oh, and yes, that's a shot of the incredible Biltmore House and Estate. We also had nice views of the
Biltmore Winery and
Inn. My brother Mark works at the
Antler Hill Village on Biltmore Estate. We may have even glimpsed it.

Looks like fun! Does this remind you of the good old days canoeing with the FBC youth....and the Pelhams???? For some reason that's where my mind went! Don't ask me why!
